Praying together is an important part of life at St Mary’ s and a small group of people continue to be available during Communion at our 10.15am Sunday morning communion service and on the first Sunday of the month at 6pm when our communion service is in the evening.
We are there to pray with anyone who is in need of prayerful support for themselves or others.

Our prayer chain is also part of this caring for each other and available to those who are in urgent need of prayer and loving support during the week.
We have a team of 10 people who are part of this chain. If you wish to add a name, other than
your own, please ask permission of the person you wish us to pray for.

Recycling for Macmillan Cancer Support

Recycle your old Mobile Phones or Printer Cartridges. There is a collection box at the back of the church, or freepost envelopes available at the coffee bar or from Ed Whittaker to send away yourself. For every item collected, Recyle4Charity will give a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support. They will also recycle the item responsibly instead of it going into Landfill.

Coming Soon

It is amazing that advent – the time of waiting – is almost upon us.

Check back here for updates and progress as our Knitted characters travel around Hinckley visiting different places before eventually arriving at St Mary’s Church on Christmas Eve (although we suspect the Wise Men, since they have no camel, may be a bit later arriving!)
